The 2027 Whyte Sythe 27 brings the same progressive British design, weather-sealing and confidence-inspiring handling as Whytes adult Sythe bikes. Its tailored specifically for younger, developing riders aged 14 and up. Built to help riders improve at their own pace, its tough enough to take the inevitable mistakes in its stride and capable enough to reward the good days too, from nervy first laps right through to bike park sessions.This Sythe 27 is built around a lightweight 6061-T6 aluminium frame with high/low geometry adjustment and proper enduro geometry sized sensibly for a younger rider, with the cockpit, cranks and reach all proportioned to fit from the first pedal stroke rather than something to grow into. At the heart of the bike, Quad-Link 4 suspension delivers 150mm of front and 135mm of rear travel through a RockShox Psylo Gold fork and RockShox Deluxe Select RT shock, keeping things composed on rough terrain and precise enough for tight, twisty singletrack. Weather-sealed cable ports, hose routing and seat clamp, generous tyre clearance, and chainstay and downtube protection keep the bike working through mud, grit and rock strikes, while phosphate-coated, marine grease-packed pivot bearings are built to shrug off a soggy British winter. The frame is also ready to be converted to mixed mullet wheels (27.5in front, 26in rear) as riders progress.The Sythe 27 is equipped with a Shimano CUES 1x10 mechanical drivetrain with an 11-48T range for dependable, easy-to-use shifting, and Tektro four-piston hydraulic brakes with 180mm rotors front and rear for confident, powerful stopping power. Schwalbe Albert Trail Radial tyres, super soft up front and soft at the rear, round out a build focused on grip and control on 27.5in wheels.This bike is perfect for The Sythe 27 if for young riders aged 14 and up who are progressing from nervy first laps into more capable trail and bike park riding.
