About the Product: Brand: DMR Bikes Category: Handlebars Product Description: I have been using DMR bars for 20 years and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to design and create my own signature handlebars. The Odub bar is the result of 20 years of development and feedback with DMR, as well as my own product design experience over the past decade. I enjoy riding all types of bikes, from dirt jumps to XC, and I wanted a bar shape that would feel familiar across all of them. After experimenting with various shapes, I found that the 5 upsweep / 8 back bend was perfect for me. SIZES ON SIZES The Odub bar comes in three rise options which cover all my needs. The high rise of 50mm works perfectly on my dirt jump bike, the 35mm rise on my everyday 150mm trail bike, and the 20mm rise on my EMTB. The Odub bar is available in 31.8mm and 35mm clamp sizes, so you can use it with your existing stems. It is worth noting that the choice of size is a personal preference. The bars come in widths of 780mm and 800mm for the 31.8mm and 35mm respectively. I prefer to cut mine down to 750mm for my dirt jump bike and 770mm for all the others. In order to reduce waste, the bars are not packaged and the barcode is directly on the product itself. CARBON-FREE CONSTRUCTION I chose to use 7075 aluminum instead of carbon for the Odub Bar. Carbon seemed like a risky option when clamping brakes, dropper levers, and gear shifters onto it, not to mention throwing the bike in the back of a van. Handlebars are a crucial component, and I want to ensure they are safe and reliable. The Odub Bar is strong and lightweight, thanks to spiral butting, which enhances strength and durability without adding extra weight. After all this time, I wouldnt put my name on anything that isnt perfect. Trust me, these bars are the best!
