Co-designed with freeride legend Matt Jones, the 2026 Marin Alcatraz Jr 24 brings the same DNA as the full-size Alcatraz to younger riders ready to take their first serious steps into dirt jumping, pump track and freestyle. Built around a Series 3 6061 aluminium frame sized specifically for 24 wheels, its tough enough for big-line ambitions yet light enough to throw around freely. Short chainstays deliver instant pop for manuals, while the low, compact geometry keeps the bike locked beneath you so nothing gets in the way of learning new tricks.Specd with ready-to-ride components that are built to be ridden hard from day one, the Alcatraz Jr 24 is no toy. A Marin Series 2 Cro-Mo suspension-corrected fork smooths out landings, while a Tektro HD-M280 hydraulic rear disc brake provides confident, consistent stopping power scaled for younger hands. Shorter 152mm cranks and Vee Tire Rail 242.25 tyres with LSG compound are dialled in for the 24 platform, and Marins Chain Tension Device keeps the single-speed drivetrain tight and rattle-free no matter how hard it gets ridden.This bike is perfect forYoung riders who are ready to move beyond a standard kids bike and start progressing their freestyle skills on the pump track, dirt jumps or at the skate park.
