The shallow Maxtal rims keep weight low thanks to a unique drilling technique and if you set up tubeless, there's no need for rim tape and tyre mounting is quick and easy. The ride is laterally stiff without compromising compliance, so you get a good blend of responsiveness and comfort.
Maxtal aluminium alloy rims
Maxtal aluminium is light and strong. A material exclusive to Mavic, it has a higher strength to weight ratio than 6106 alloy.
ISM light rim technology
Exclusive to Mavic, Inter Spoke Milling technology keeps weight and inertia low, without compromising durability. Machining the lower bridge of the rim between each spoke hole reduces weight while maintaining a rigid structure.
