Its gravel-specific geometry, high-volume tyres and practical carrying options make it a versatile platform for everything from everyday gravel rides to bikepacking and longer off-road adventures.The OMR carbon frame uses monocoque construction with a carbon layup designed to balance strength, stiffness and compliance. Orbea has focused on filtering some of the vibration generated by rough gravel surfaces, helping reduce fatigue without taking away the responsive feel needed when accelerating or climbing.Dedicated gravel geometry is designed to provide predictable handling when surfaces become loose or uneven while retaining efficient pedalling for faster sections and longer distances. A 12x142mm rear thru-axle provides a secure wheel connection, while the UDH dropout makes replacement hangers easier to source and provides compatibility with a growing range of drivetrains.The Terra Race ICR fork uses full carbon construction with a tapered steerer and 12x100mm thru-axle. Carbon helps keep weight down while offering some vibration damping over rough surfaces. Orbea's MMS multi-mount system also provides additional mounting points for carrying equipment on longer rides.Shimano GRX provides a simple 1x12-speed drivetrain designed around mixed-surface riding. The RX610 shifter is paired with an RX822 SGS rear derailleur, 40T GRX chainring and wide-range 10-51T cassette. Removing the front derailleur simplifies shifting while still providing a broad range of gears for changing gradients and loaded riding.The 51T largest sprocket provides useful lower gearing for steep gravel climbs or when carrying bikepacking equipment. Shimano's GRX RX822 rear derailleur also helps control chain movement over rough terrain, keeping the drivetrain more secure when the surface becomes uneven.Shimano GRX RX410 hydraulic disc brakes provide predictable braking with relatively little lever effort. Their modulation makes it easier to manage grip on loose surfaces while providing consistent speed control on descents and in changing weather conditions.The 700c alloy wheels use 21mm internal-width rims and are tubeless ready. Converting to a compatible tubeless setup allows lower tyre pressures to be used for additional grip and comfort, while sealant can help deal with many smaller punctures encountered away from smooth roads.Vittoria Terreno T30 Gravel Endurance tyres come in a generous 700x45c width. Their relatively fine tread is designed to roll efficiently while providing additional grip on hardpack and finer, looser gravel. The 45mm volume also adds cushioning and traction when surfaces become rougher.A 27.2mm SP 0.2 carbon seatpost provides another source of compliance between the rider and rough surfaces while keeping weight down. It's paired with a 140mm Fizik Terra Argo X7 saddle designed around gravel riding.The OC Gravel GR31 handlebar uses a compact 70mm reach and 110mm drop, providing multiple hand positions for longer days while giving you a secure position in the drops when descending or tackling rougher sections.For longer adventures, the Terra provides multiple secure mounting points across the frame and fork through Orbea's MMS system. These give you plenty of options for attaching bottles, bags and other equipment, while front and rear mudguard compatibility makes the bike easier to adapt for wet-weather and year-round riding.This model also includes Orbea's LOCKR XXL internal frame storage. The updated design offers 35% more capacity than the previous LOCKR system, creating space inside the downtube for tools, clothing, food and other smaller ride essentials without needing to carry everything in a saddle or frame bag.The frame is also power meter compatible, making it easier to add power-based training or pacing in the future.
