Liv has developed the frame, cockpit, wheels and tyres as a complete aerodynamic package, aiming to reduce drag while keeping weight and handling suitable for racing, fast group rides and longer days on the road.The Advanced-grade composite frame uses race-inspired tube profiles and internal cable routing to create a clean aerodynamic shape. Liv has refined the geometry and integration for this generation, while a UDH rear derailleur hanger and 12mm thru-axles add modern standards to the frameset.A matching Advanced-grade composite fork uses a full-composite OverDrive Aero steerer. Together with the frame and Liv Contact SL Aero cockpit, it helps create a streamlined front end with minimal exposed cabling.The Contact SL Aero handlebar is relatively narrow, with widths matched to each frame size. A narrower cockpit can reduce the rider's frontal area as well as complementing the aerodynamic design of the bike itself. Handlebar, stem and crank dimensions are also adjusted across the size range to provide more appropriate proportions for different riders.Liv has lowered the seatstays to introduce additional vertical compliance into the rear of the frame, helping reduce some of the vibration reaching the rider on rougher roads.
