Marin's Beyond Road geometry is designed to balance efficient road riding with predictable handling when the surface becomes rougher.A full carbon Marin fork helps keep weight down at the front while providing some vibration damping over rougher surfaces. It uses a tapered steerer and 12mm thru-axle, with flat-mount disc brake fittings and mudguard eyelets adding to the bike's everyday versatility.Shimano GRX provides a straightforward 1x12-speed drivetrain developed specifically for mixed-surface riding. The RX820 shifter and 40T GRX chainset are paired with an RX822 rear derailleur, giving you a simple setup without a front derailleur while retaining a useful spread of gears for varied terrain.Shimano GRX RX820 hydraulic disc brakes provide controlled braking with relatively little lever effort.
