Orbea has focused heavily on weight distribution, stiffness and suspension performance to create an e-MTB that feels lively and controlled rather than overly heavy or disconnected from the trail.Its OMR carbon frame uses a mullet wheel configuration with a 29in front wheel for stability and rollover performance, paired with a 27.5in rear wheel to keep handling agile through tighter sections and steep terrain. Long, progressive geometry and 170mm of suspension travel front and rear give the Wild M10 the confidence to handle rough descents, technical rock gardens and bike park laps with composure.Suspension duties are handled by a Fox 38 Float Performance fork and Fox Float X Performance rear shock, delivering impressive support and traction across rough terrain. The updated suspension kinematics improve mid-stroke support and responsiveness, helping maintain grip and control when speeds increase or trails become more technical.Bosch’s latest Performance CX motor provides smooth yet powerful assistance with 85Nm of torque, paired with a 750Wh PowerTube battery for extended ride potential. The system is also compatible with Bosch Performance Update 2.0, allowing riders to access increased support settings and additional customisation through the Bosch Flow app. The integrated Kiox 400C display keeps ride data clear and accessible without cluttering the cockpit.A Shimano XT and SLX 12-speed drivetrain delivers dependable shifting under load, while Shimano XT M8220 hydraulic disc brakes provide strong and consistent stopping power for steep terrain and long descents. The OQUO mullet wheelset is matched with aggressive Maxxis Assegai tyres to maximise grip and control in loose and technical conditions.Orbea has also kept practicality and reliability in mind, with clean internal cable routing, robust frame protection and a simple, purposeful design that focuses on ride performance without unnecessary complexity.Bosch Performance Update 2.0Bosch have dropped a fresh update for the Performance Line CX and CX-R motors, and it’s a big one for riders who want more punch on the trails. The update is available for the latest generation motors with the codes BDU384Y and BDU386Y, and it can be installed straight from the Bosch eBike Flow app. Nice and easy.Once you’ve downloaded Performance Update 2.0, you can crank the motor up to a huge 120 Nm of torque, with up to 600% support and 750 watts of peak power. Bosch have also tweaked things so the motor can hold that power for longer when the riding conditions allow.The 600% support figure only kicks in between 0 and 15 km/h, so it’s all about helping you power up steep climbs and tricky sections. The maximum assisted speed stays the same at 25 km/h.As with previous Bosch updates, you can still customise the motor settings in the app to suit your riding style. Whether you want maximum power for steep tech climbs or a more natural feel on longer rides, you can dial it in how you like it.Performance Update 2.0 is available for all CX Gen 5 and CX-R Gen 5 motors. It also brings Extended Boost (Bosch Overrun) and support for the new drivetrain tensioner system, which helps reduce lag when you get back on the pedals. Bosch are also adding more features and connectivity options, including Garmin integration and new power supply options.One thing worth keeping in mind — more power means more stress on drivetrain components, so increased wear is expected over time.
