Its all-aluminium LITE I frame offers 180 mm of rear suspension and uses a robust platform inspired by Merida’s FAST kinematic. The geometry focuses on stability and control when speeds rise and the trails get rough, and the frame is rated for Category 5 riding, giving reassurance for regular bike-park days or challenging downhill tracks.DVO supplies the suspension at both ends, with a 180 mm Onyx 38 D3 fork for stiffness and support on hard hits, paired with the Jade X CORE coil shock for consistent performance through repeated descents. The mixed-wheel setup places a 29" wheel up front for smoother roll-over and a 27.5" wheel at the rear for agility, helping the bike feel responsive despite its long-travel design.Power is provided by Bosch’s Performance Line CX motor, delivering up to 120 Nm of torque for climbing back to the top without relying on an uplift. The large 800 Wh battery supports long days on steep ground, and it can be removed for off-bike charging or replaced with ease. The rugged battery cover uses magnetic Fidlock retention to stay secure against impacts and trail debris.To match the suspension, the braking system uses SRAM DB4 Stealth 4-piston callipers with large 220/200 mm CenterLine rotors for consistent stopping on sustained descents. Shimano’s Cues U6000 drivetrain keeps things simple and durable, offering reliable shifting in tough conditions. It’s a capable partner for bike parks, big-mountain missions and challenging trails where stability and control matter most.Bosch Performance Update 2.0Bosch have dropped a fresh update for the Performance Line CX and CX-R motors, and it’s a big one for riders who want more punch on the trails. The update is available for the latest generation motors with the codes BDU384Y and BDU386Y, and it can be installed straight from the Bosch eBike Flow app. Nice and easy.Once you’ve downloaded Performance Update 2.0, you can crank the motor up to a huge 120 Nm of torque, with up to 600% support and 750 watts of peak power. Bosch have also tweaked things so the motor can hold that power for longer when the riding conditions allow.The 600% support figure only kicks in between 0 and 15 km/h, so it’s all about helping you power up steep climbs and tricky sections. The maximum assisted speed stays the same at 25 km/h.As with previous Bosch updates, you can still customise the motor settings in the app to suit your riding style. Whether you want maximum power for steep tech climbs or a more natural feel on longer rides, you can dial it in how you like it.Performance Update 2.0 is available for all CX Gen 5 and CX-R Gen 5 motors. It also brings Extended Boost (Bosch Overrun) and support for the new drivetrain tensioner system, which helps reduce lag when you get back on the pedals.
