S6900 LLU MAX-E - Stainless steel radial bearing - (C3 clearance) - 10mm x 22mm x 6/9mm Enduro Bearings pioneered MAX type bearings over 20 years ago for bikes to tackle the challenges associated with mountain bike pivots. MAX type bearings offer a load capacity that is 35 to 40% higher compared to standard radial bearings due to a special design where the maximum number of balls is inserted into the bearing, through a specially ground groove in the races. The additional balls, combined with deep grooves in these bearings, provide better lateral support for the twisting and multidirectional forces associated with mountain bike pivots. This ABEC-3 bearing has deep groove raceways, with grade 10 balls and double lip labyrinth seals (LLU) for maximum protection against the elements, while maintaining a 90% fill of Almagard extra high-pressure grease inside.
