Product Description

The TO-S71 saw guide from XLC can be used for precise cutting of the head tube or seat post. Designed to fit 1", 1 1/8" and 1 ¼" A-Head headtubes, you can use the guide to hold a city/trekking, mountain bike or road/racing bike tube in place so you can make a clean, precise cut with a saw. A tool like this is useful for adjusting your bike to your position and ending up with a large portion of the head tube sticking out of your stem. Clamp the bottom end in a vise, then thread the fork until your cut mark lines up with the guide. A hacksaw can then be used to make the cut.
