Product Description

Go full enduro. Our flagship enduro bike, the Saracen Ariel 60 has been built to take on the wildest wilderness epics, bikepark laps and can of course get competitive between the tapes. At the heart of the all-new 160mm suspension platform is our Series 3 custom-butted and hydroformed 6013 aluminium frame. It’s enduro-ready, and while we might not have an EWS race team, we do have Matt Walker from the Madison Saracen Factory Racing Team.Matt is a rider who knows how to push a bike far beyond the limits of most mortals. The first time he rode the Ariel 60, we saw the bike shiver a little as he approached — because it knew things were about to get serious. The testing brief was simple: we wanted him to ride this bike as hard as he rides his Myst, with one difference — he’d be pedalling back up the climbs too.Now it’s Matt’s favourite bike to jump on, with a steep seat tube angle and efficient suspension design helping on the way up. On the way back down, it’s a riot. It’s also easy to get the right fit on an Ariel 60 thanks to size-specific wheels. Small and medium bikes use a 29/27.5 mullet setup, while large and extra-large sizes run full 29er wheels. But what if you change your mind faster than the bike industry decides on wheel size standards? We thought of that too. Whichever Ariel 60 you choose, we’ve included additional push links so you can swap them out and experiment. All you’ll need is the correct size rear wheel. The good news continues when you take a look at the spec sheet for our Elite model, which comes with a wish-list of components. That starts with the suspension: a Fox Factory 38 with Kashima Coat and a DHX2 Factory shock, offering a full range of adjustment to dial in your setup exactly how you like it.Shimano XT has long been the benchmark for performance and durability on the trail, and this build includes the complete groupset — including powerful four-piston brakes for confident one-finger control on steep descents. The gold standard of enduro rims, the 30mm-wide DT Swiss EX511, pairs perfectly with Maxxis Minion DHRII tyres. Both are tubeless ready — you’ll just need tape, valves and sealant.Completing the package is a carbon RaceFace Next R handlebar and matching aluminium stem, both in a 35mm diameter. The KS Lev Integra dropper post keeps things fast on the climbs and playful on the descents. When it comes to the details, there’s internal routing for everything, including the dropper post, plus space for a 550ml bottle, superboost spacing for additional clearance, and large bearings for long-lasting durability and easy servicing. Please note - this bike does not come supplied with pedals.
