ACB 6808 CC SXD - 1-1/2" XD15 Angular Contact Headset Bearing (40mm x 52mm x 6.5mm; 36 x 45deg), Angular contact bearing for internal headset with 440C stainless steel balls combined with XD15 rings to provide lifetime corrosion resistance, Recently developed by Enduro, these XD15 bearings are virtually identical in performance and corrosion resistance to our XD15 Ceramic-hybrid bearings used for hubs and bottom brackets, but are better suited to the more abusive application of headset. The mechanical properties of the XD15 stainless steel balls provide a higher level of shock resistance than ceramic balls for headset applications. Bearings tested at enduro with XD15 balls and bushings have been used in salt water for months without any corrosion, there is simply nothing comparable on the market.
