The Contact Urban is a tyre that features all the tecnology required to make you king of the concrete jungle. The tread is fast rolling with directional siping across the shoulders to push water out thus maintaining grip in all conditions. The casing is tough enough to be rated to e-bike specification and includes reflective sidewalls to ensure low light visability to other vehicles. The chance of punctures resulting from glass or sharp stones has been substantially reduced thanks to the use of a woven nylon Saftey Pro breaker. Continental have an option for every urban jungle soldier out there whether your weapon of choice is an e-bike, hybrid, or even a Brompton.This tyre features Continental Pure Grip, a proprietary compound based on activated silica, whilst providing great grip it is also long lasting and highly durable. Originally intended as a performance level compound after intensive development an advanced new mix with outstanding grip and cross-country properties was developed. This rubber mix is used in performance products both in the road and mountain bike sectors.
