The Clarks Organic Disc Brake Pads. Clarks have been producing the finest braking products and cables for the past 65 years. Pro DH racer Fabien Barel is a keen advocate of Clarks and has won the World Downhill Championships twice using their products. These pads are best for general use as they are more cost effective and when used in normal conditions provide excellent braking characteristics and will not score rotorsurfaces. The organic compound provides improved bite and noise reduction, whilst the pads use carbon for the effective dissipation of heat within the overall pad material and all the pads are pre-embedded. Clarks disc brakes offer better stopping performance, including resistance to "brake fade" caused by the overheating of brake components, and are able to recover quickly from immersion (wet brakes are less effective).
