The V4 version not only receives the electronic impulses and sends them to the front and rear derailleurs; thanks to its two internal aerials with both Bluetooth Low Energy and ANT + it can also communicate in real time with a vast range of external devices ranging from phones to bike computers through to any other electronic device used by the cyclist. The V4 version also enables automatic shifting once a set gear inch ratio has been reached following the gear change.
