Not content with re-writing the rules for electronic drivetrains with the latest eTap AXS groupset, SRAM went one step further and created a cassette to match. The Rival XG-1250 Cassette uses SRAM's XDR freehub design to change the way we think about road bike gearing.12-speed design with 10-tooth start helps provide a wider gear rangeMore gradual progression between cogs with at least five one-tooth jumps between ratiosDesigned to work with an XDR driver bodyLightweight Full Pin design keeps weight to a minimumNickel chrome plating for quiet running and excellent durabilityWorking in conjunction with the latest SRAM Rival AXS chainsets, the XG-1250 Cassette is designed to give riders more choice for their gearing, with a wider range and closer steps between ratios. The XG-1250 uses an XDR driver body with technology derived for their XD driver body. This enables SRAM to create a cassette with a 10-tooth start, the same as their mountain bike cassettes. Combined with a 12th ratio, this means the XG-1250 provides a wider gear range, with more gradual progression between ratios; each cassette has at least five one-tooth jumps between cogs.The wider range and 10-tooth start mean that when used with the new Rival AXS chainsets, the XG-1250 can be used with smaller chainrings to offer the same equivalent gears, with a 50t chainring providing the equivalent gear of a 55t chainring when used with a regular cassette with an 11t start. The clever Full Pin construction means the XG-1250 is lightweight, durable and shifts smoothly, even under heavy load. It's the perfect compliment to the Rival eTap AXS groupset.
