The Shimano Ultegra R8000 brake calipers have been completely redesigned for even greater braking performance.The dual-pivot caliper brake features a super SLR-EV design for quick linear response, increased rigidity and improved braking power. The caliper must be used in conjunction with super SLR levers to ensure correct leverage ratio.The brake uses a low profile outer cable stop position that improves cable routing for reduced friction and an adjustable spring tension for precision set-up.
