Product Description
What do you get when you combine attributes from legendary Maxxis treads like the Minion DHR II, High Roller and Shorty? You get the Assegai, the signature tyre from the mind of Greg Minnaar. The tall knobs punch through dust and loam to find traction, while also offering support and confidence on wet roots and rocks. Specification World Cup Champion Greg Minnaar's signature tyre Best for: Loose, Loose/Hard, Medium, Wet Cornering Control: 1 2 3 4 Rolling Efficiency: 1 2 3 4 Compound: MaxxGrip Technology Breaker: EXO+ Puncture Protection Max PSI: 50 Bead Type: Folding Tubeless Ready TPI: 1203C MaxxGrip3C MaxxGrip uses the softest rubber compounds to offer ultimate grip and slow rebound properties for unparalleled traction in downhill applications.DoubleDown / DDDoubleDown (DD) is the next step in the evolution of dual-ply tyre casing technology for enduro racing. Two 120 TPI casing layers, reinforced with a butyl insert, provide enduro riders with the support and protection of a downhill tyre in a lighter package.Tubeless ReadyTubeless Ready tyres provide several benefits, including the ability to run lower air pressures for improved traction, lower rolling resistance compared with tube-type tyres, and a reduced chance of punctures as there is no inner tube. Liquid sealants should only be used with Tubeless Road, Tubular and Tubeless Ready tyres. Using liquid sealants in any other Maxxis tyre will void the warranty.Wide TrailWide Trail (WT) construction optimises the tyre tread layout and profile for today's modern, wider rims. Traditional tyres are designed around older, narrower rims and can create an overly square tyre profile, leading to reduced performance. WT tyres are optimised for a 35 mm internal rim width but are proven to work across a range of 30?35 mm internal rim widths, depending on rider preference.Find out more about Maxxis technology here. | Freewheel Product
